This week’s outfit looks pretty boring from the front, all black: black jumper, black trousers, black shoes. I just left the scarf on when I took this photos because I had just come in from the cold and I was still feeling the chill.
This has to be one of my favourite jumpers – it is lovely and soft and comfy to wear, and has a little treat on the back. I picked it up last summer at House of Fraser. It’s from the Mary Portas range, which I really love.
At the front it looks just like a slouchy, scoop-necked jumper, but then you turn around (apologies for the terribly contorted shot; seriously, could that look any more awkward…?) and the back is this brightly coloured and patterned and LOUD. Love it!

Red metallic leather bracelet: Good Works – I have a bit of a thing for these and have, errr… five, I think, maybe more…
And see that creamy coloured coat hanging there? That’s mine too (from Reiss a couple of years ago). And can you also see – it’s not a thick, thick down coat. Oh yes, temperatures are rising in Stockholm and I have my “lightweight” winter coat out (thick enough to withstand the average English winter but paper-thin here in the face of -10 degrees). Oh yes, oh yes.
(This probably means that March will be wall-to-wall snow, but let’s just enjoy it while it lasts, shall we.)
So an outfit of faves this week: favourite glasses (new almost always means favourite, right?), one of my favourite jumpers, favourite trousers, favourite winter scarf and one of my favourite bracelets.
